Adas Burkšaitis is a film director living in Vilnius.
While studying computer science, Adas became interested in cinema. In 2020, Adas enrolled in a master's degree in directing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre. Since then, he has created short films that have been presented at Palm Springs, Vienna Shorts, Trouville Off-Courts, and other international and Lithuanian film festivals. His experience working in the sciences has broadened Ado's worldview and influences his work. Personal experiences not only inspire stories, but also dictate themes. In his films, he seeks to reflect on the impact of technology, the loss of illusions, and the subjectivity of our human experience.
