In un periodo di estrema confusione come quello attuale, la paura dell’altro è sempre più evidente. I motivi sono tanti e spesso nascosti nelle viscere. In una Napoli notturna e triste, capita che gli occhi incrocino altri occhi e che qualcosa si smuova nel profondo dell’animo umano. Un incrocio di sguardi o lo spostamento di una virgola. La catastrofica discesa dentro se stessi e nella storia collettiva, comincia. Con un pizzico di humour.

Nel caldo di una notte, un ragazzo viene svegliato dall’ossessivo caos sonoro della città che lentamente penetra nella sua stanza e nella sua mente. Esasperato, corre via di casa iniziando una disperata e angosciante ricerca del silenzio perduto.

Characters of different ages, ethnicities and social backgrounds, trapped in a frenetic society prone to violence and consumerism. On stage 30 actors, 28 of which with eyes closed to indicate the indifference and superficiality that drag us more and more to look without really seeing. Everyone, in fact, living their daily lives in indifference, is driven by inertia and habit, to continue to live in that state of impassivity, even the most tragic of events...

Most of the time, we don't see things. We pretend to see them. We see reality in a distorted way. I see people getting excited for a photo of a sunset, taken inside a car, where you can only see a glimpse of the beauty they wanted to catch. We don't go beyond appearance. So I asked myself: where is the beauty I'm looking for? Maybe watching this journey you can go deep beyond distorted appearance and ask yourself "where is the real beauty I'm looking for?”

Lost among his thoughts, a man leaves his sad present. He sees in his head the night spent with "Her", the woman who he can't name, but who has left him a permanent sign within. Going with the flow of his own addictions the man surrenders to nostalgia. He has only one hope, the possibility to savor one more time that night spent with "Her".

In Brief starts from Post-history, by narrating scientific facts, like a documentary, regarding an enormous timespan in the Universe’s far future, whilst developing a silent drama around the heart of being human.

Sebastian is a thirty years old man who tries to fulfill his dream of becoming a writer. His wife Angela, instead, is fine with the perspective of a normal life. The result is that they no longer look like a couple. Out of the blue, Angela inherits an apartment. All would be normal, if it wasn’t that the apartment was Kroos’, an old literature teacher recently passed away, to whom Sebastian was very close and that had no connection with Angela. All that’s left for Sebastian is to ask himself: "Why her?" ...
